Alice For The iPad
This apparently is a glimpse into the future of digital reading and one of the most impressive E Books out there so far...
This little number is a clever take on Lewis Carrol's original Book 'Alice in Wonder Land' but gives you the chance to interact till the cows come home. A lot of new illustrations were added and some of the original illustrations (some of them up to 145 years old) were scanned but don't let that put you off. Up to date tech was added like virtual gravity and physics which allows you to interact with the characters and objects on screen.

It's a scream - if your the type that gets bored after 15 minutes of just reading... it's time to shake the Pad!
Quote by Oprah Winfrey:
"It's going to change the way the kids learn"

Flipboard is the first "social magazine" that gives people a single place to quickly 'flip' through news, photos and updates. Focused communication allows for deeper connections and helps your social media experience. It is a new way to enjoy and experience other peoples views, interests, social interactions and much more.
Three months after the launch, Flipboard already feels like a household name (for iPad owners) in the weeks ahead the company received hundreds of requests from publishers, content owners, advertisers and other interested parties to get on board Flipboard.
It has won numerous awards including iPad App of the Year from Apple and The 50 Best Inventions of 2010 by Time Magazine.

Quote from Greg McQueen - user:
"When I use Flipboard I feel like I live in the future.(YES)"

Every city has it's own secrets, but few people have the key to unlock them. This app allows you to either have access to insider knowledge or add to it, to discover things from art to technology and loads in-between.

Rather than a guidebook for visitors, this app works on geo-tagged content and is updated in real time by the users. You can start to tag and broadcast your own view of a city on the move, using the latest iPhone geo-tagging and Facebook connect technology.

Nike True City receives thousands of contributions from passionate users with an insider view of sport, life and culture across six European cities, London, Berlin, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam and Barcelona.
Quote from Rob Ford, Favorite Website Awards
"This is the first iPhone app to ever win an FWA Site of the Day, This is a pioneering app and an historical day for FWA."

An interesting baby carrot marketing ploy here...
How it works, you power an animated character by actually eating baby carrots, the crunching sound is picked up by your iPhone microphone. By using a crunch-detection algorithm called "Crunchonics Technology" you control a rickety shopping cart strapped to a rocket engine. Your character will be skipping across roof tops and doing way out tricks.

Quote: From Riddhi Shah, Salon:
"By the third time I heard the metalhead grunt that Baby! Carrots! are Extreme!, I finally got how brilliant self-referential it all was... The entire campaign is kind of genius. It's certain to attract attention and become a talking point."
