It's the last Issue of the years... ahhh we hear you sigh but don't worry it's a corker!

On the cover of this months zine is London based Conor Harrington. Originally from Cork, Northern Ireland his work is a mixture or street and fine arts. He says "It also shows that graff doesn't have to shock – or be soppy – to have substance".

This month we visit a wonderland of colour, interviews, products and poplife - so what else is in store:
Jen Stark - Hits Miami Beach's Art Basel.
Conor Harrington - Wanders into Mexico.
Grandy Gordon - Bad to the bone.
Julie Heffernan - In the past twenty years almost every painting Julie has done has been in a basement.

What, that time again... yeees!

Ron English's 'Combrat Rising' decorates the front cover with florid colours of a child holding a lovely pink guitar machine gun. He also has the honour of curating this political and arty issue.

Between the covers there is plenty of the mesmerising and brilliant pics, full of juicy goodness like interviews, reviews, party shots, pop life and tons more.

What's in the contents we hear you ask?:
Shepard Fairy - He made an appearance in the Simpson as himself in 2012
Tom Forsythe - In 1999, Matel sued him for his depiction of their premier toy, Barbie
Susan Saladoff - Began her career as a public interest lawyer.
Robbie Conal - He created poster art for the 2012 film Contagion.
Trustocorp - Fighting against apathy.

Molly Crabapple - "I learnt to draw in a Parisian bookstore".
Ernesto Yerena Montejano - He interns and collaborates with Shepard Fairy.
John Law - Dogs on a trailer.
Dread Scott - I am not a man
Morgan Spurlock - Mr Super Size Me.

Halloween is just around the corner and this is the theme for this issue of Juxtapoz Magazine!

Best read in a dark room using a flashlight, this month's issue displays artist Alex Pardee's work on the front cover. Who is Alex Pardee you may ask, he has been on the scene for a number of years now and is a free lancer. A multi-media artist who uses acrylics, oils, latex, watercolors, pens, inks and dyes. Working with companies like Twenty Twenty Skateboards and Hurley International. He has also done album covers for bands like Kid Robot, A Sense of Purpose and loads more.

Quote about Nychos from the magazine:

Nychos is a hack with a spray can, making sushi out of anatomical parts. 

He is graffiti's unofficial surgeon, literally carving out his own niche. 

I can't recall anyone working in this medium who dissects and explodes with such detail and imagination. His language consists of splattered internal organs, popping eyeballs, scalped heads and let's not forget , bunnies.

Oh yes, Juxtapoz is out...

Daniel Clowes hits on the cover this month. The cover illustration is from his book Ghost World, first published in 1997. The story is about two teenage girls leaving high school, the story and illustrations follow their development into adulthood. This fella is truly a one man comic army, starting his career in 1985 with Cracked Magazine in the US and he has never look back since. He likes to think of himself as a graphic novelist and his two most recent publications are Wilson and Mr Wonderful.

Just a word about Boneface, his art seems to be inspired by nose bleeds - something that happens to him everyday.

We have kept our beady eye out for August's Juxtapoz magazine and it has finally arrived.

Whole load of stuff goin down in this issue, with Evan Hecox rockin the cover.
Yes, The Evan Hecox, the guy that produced some iconic and collectable skateboards for the cool company Chocolate. He is now working with gouache and acrylic on some well old vintage newspapers, using urban building and street scenes to create a montage of work (we particularly like the smashed up VW convertible). Take a look at the interview on page 34.

Cathie Bleck - Fascinated with Egypt and it's history.

A multifaceted, multi coloured, multimedia magazine... that enough m's for yeh? Ha!
