Product Test... Eastpak

We regularly walk miles in the pursuit of paint spots and urban exploration.
After a while the back starts to suffer from the heavy weight of spray cans and paint pots, not to mention the potential collapse of our delicate feet arches.

So we got to thinking, there must be an easier way to cart around our tools of the trade without a constant struggle. RDC contacted Eastpakand put the question to them to see if they could help out? They came back with the idea of using a piece from their wheeled luggage range.

When the Transfer M arrived on the doorstep we thought it was far to big and bulky. After loading it up with 10 cans, spray mask, bag of caps, a 2.5 litre paint pot, roller, paint tray and a water bottle (where is the kitchen sink we hear you ask) we realised just how much we had been lugging about and how perfect the bag was to carry/cope with our paint sessions!

On its first excursion into the concrete jungle we took it to our favourite spot. It offers all sorts of challenging terrain and obstacles to over come and the bag coped with them very well... don't take our word for it though, we filmed it - check out the footage at the bottom of this post...

Product Test... Judge and Jury

A brand new clothing company based in Manchester, UK Judge and Jury looked us up and asked us to put some of their casual wear through the mill. Who could refuse a company who use the compelling words 'Disturbing the Peace" on their logo !

Who are Judge and Jury you ask?:
"A breakout brand that knows its own mind just like the people who wear it. Our plan is to release tough-minded guys back onto the streets wearing stylish menswear "Crafted with Conviction", putting an end to a life sentence of mediocrity. The verdict of Judge & Jury is freedom for those with a desire to throw away the uniform and scale the walls of convention. We offer a fresh start, a new razor sharp but gritty look - a daring escape from the confinement of institutionalised fashion. Judge & Jury has the balls without the chains. Are you ready to make a run for it?"
From J and J website

Of course we accepted and started out by hitting a paint spot dear to our hearts. They sent us two Hoodies, from their long sleeve top range a zipped turquoise and a zipped green (with a Mustang jacket to come in the near future).

The hoods accompanied us to our favourite spot and with paint flying off rollers, out off cans and off brushes the green zip hoodie stood up to the riggers of a full on session.

Neonbeige, Hood, Product Test

In The Hood

Last month we found this Hood in a University Arts Department, on a lovely design student's head named Imogen.

This month we find it hanging around with one of the Collective Crew - Tempora, in an urban spray setting. He is famous for his eye murals and they are no doubt checkin out his stylist head attire.

If multi-colours aren't your thing then the Hood is reversible with a matt black interior, for those of you who are into the dark side. If you are into colours there is loads more to choose from on the Neonbeige site.

All you have to remember are the German words 'In den Warenkorb' which means 'In the shopping cart'... Simples!
