App a Week. Adobe Ideas. Taschen

'Adobe Ideas'
Category: Utilities

For use on:
⁍iPad
iPhone
⁍Video Demonstration
⁍ Mobile website

This App is a portable digital sketchbook to supplement what some artists and designers do on paper napkins or old cigarette packets, when an idea hits them.

Adobe Ideas has been embraced by users, bloggers, reviewers and the press. With it's scalability, compatibility and simplicity of use it is definitely a crowd pleaser. It has a limited tool-set which makes it user friendly and your creativity is enhanced by it's simplicity.

Users can zoom out while drawing and zoom in without seeing big pixels, an amazing amount of detail is possible. With vector-based PDFs that fit perfectly into work-flows using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator and other pro creative tools, it looks like Adobe has scored big time again!
Just to add, even President Obama used Adobe Ideas to sign an autograph- the first time a US President has signed an iPad.

Quote from Jess Eddy, User Experience Designer:
"Ive been sketching like a manic using Adobe Ideas...
It's been a great tool so far and has dramatically changed my sketching habits. Not to mention clients are impressed and the sketching produced from Adobe Ideas are of great quality, good enough to fold into client presentations in fact."

Collaboration: Rad Dad Collective have hooked up with Taschen Publishing to bring you an 'App a Week.' The inspiration came when we received a copy of The App & Mobile Case Study Book from Taschen and we were well impressed!
